Estate sales, online auctions, antique shops, and pawn shops are some places where one can look for these rings. But make sure the antique ring you are purchasing is not an imitation, and always ask your jeweler or the salesperson for a guarantee. Normally antique rings cost more than ordinary rings, and therefore one has to be more careful to ensure that they are genuine.

 

Also, antique engagement rings need to be taken special care of as they are passed on from generations and are expected to be passed on to many generations.
